Children play on the full layout of
Kinder Gym equipment ( with songs and games
half way through the session. Children stop after 1 hour for tea, and
then we finish with obstacle courses, the parachute and the hokey-cokey.

Parties in place and time of your choice
The way our parties work:
All the following parties work on involving the children in a group story. During these ages children love using their imagination and this makes the party very special to them. A lot of parents have told us that the children play the games for a long time afterwards, developing the storyline themselves.
Under the age of three years we expect the majority of parents to stay with their children. The children are comfortable joining in because they are watching the parent joining in, and we find parents ( and grandparents) enjoy it as much as the children.
When the children are three years or above it is very important that the fewer adults there are in the main party room the better, for the following reasons:
1 A lot of children become self conscious at this age and will not join in if they feel watched
2 Children who are a bit worried about separating from their Mum or Dad won't if too many other parents are in the room.( of course if you know your child is not ready to leave you, we expect the parent to stay and join in. Dads often love a good Pirate party!)
3 It is very important that there are no distractions or noise as they need to be able to hear us and we need o be able to hear them to get everyone fully involved.
I would recommend St Mary's Church Hall Princes Risborough as an ideal hall for parties of this kind as there is a main hall for the party and a side hall that can be laid out for tea, with a glass dividing panel, so parents can stay and watch if they wish but the children are still completely separate.
This is our very own party concept and having done nearly 100 parties now we feel we have got the hang of it and we really enjoy it. If you are interested, just bear in mind that if you want to include the parents as spectators you are better having a party entertainer. Oscar from Penn or Colonel Custard come highly recommended.

Teddybears' Picnic Age 1 year - 3 years. Teddybears' Picnic Children arrive with their own bear. we begin by singing action songs about our bears. eg "See the little Teddies sleeping" and " My teddy sails over the ocean". We meet Kindergym Ted and play hide and seek with him! We use low level kindergym equipment to play on and finish with bubbles.
Themed Parties Age 1 year - 7 years. Children play with the equipment: including tunnels, pop-up equipment, low level plastic meccano, target and beanbags, wobble boards, launchers, egg'n'spoons, stilts, magic footprints, balloons. Interspersed with singing and playing percussion instruments or races and games, in theme and appropriate to age group. The party finishes with parachute games and hokey-cokey. choose between:

Live the Story Parties Age 3 years - 5 years. Live the Story Parties Part is are based round the story, by bringing the story to life with, percussion, movement, and craft. Parachute games to finish at end. Choose between:

Oi Get off my Train.
Pirate Party.Age 4 years -7 years Children come in fancy dress and colour their own treasure map as they arrive. All activities are in order to train them as the birthday child's Pirate Crew. We learn a pirate song, meet Theo the lobster, train for fitness, catch fish, learn how to obey the Captain's orders, and practise balance in order to walk the plank! Parachute games provide a fun finish. At the end children stop for photo shoot and are awarded a pirate scroll.
Fairytale Party.Age 4 years - 7 years Children come in fancy dress and colour their own map of the enchanted forest as they arrive. All activities are to help Cinderella find her missing slipper. We learn skills useful for life in Arboria, such as sneaking and creeping, waving wands, fighting dragons etc We meet the ticklebird, learn a special song for the Wizard of Oz, help save the frogs from the big bad wolf - all whilst avoiding the giggling goblins and being helped by the friendly fairies. Parachute games provide a fun finish. Party finishes with the children receiving their maps of the enchanted forest and a photo shoot.
The Knight and the Dragon Party.Age 4 years - 7 years The Knight and the Dragon Party. Children come in fancy dress and stick flames on the scary dragon picture that the birthday child keeps at the end. All activities are based round the 'villagers' the party children finding the dragon that is frightening the village, and discovering that he is not scary but, in fact, needs their help. A knights tournament on the low level obstacle course and parachute games provide a fun finish. children go home with a postcard from the dragon, thanking them for their help.
Transport Party.Age 3 years - 6 years. As the children come in they make their own car out of a cardboard box. We then play lots of games based round different forms of transport. Party ends with birthday child's Grand Prix involving low level equipment and parachute games.
High School Musical Party.Age 7 years - 11 years Children arrive dressed appropriately, create their own scene from their own high school musical. This involves improvised drama games to warm up, followed by learning a dance with many pompoms, and making up some dialogue, which will be performed to the parents at the end of the party. we finish to thunderous applause and a photo shoot!
